A Different Scene

Once did a prince bid farewell to his dearly beloved. Left her alone with nothing but tears and a last gift, oh it's nothing of royalty or princely extravagance, it is but a stem of a freshly picked rose from a wild shrub nearby. Quite a simple gift for a princess if you ask me. But it's not just a simple rose, it is a rose with hope tied to it, a hope that one day she will be with her love one again.

She held on to that, days have passed by, months perhaps even years, i can never tell... but this i'm sure, there isn't any day that she didn't stand and wait on the very bridge they last saw each other.

Her eyes have been seeing the same melancholic and empty scene over and over again for so long now, I think it's probably time for a different one <3
